So many people complain about Google’s tough rules, but I say…”keep it simple” & you will benefit from the rewards. I NEVER get below a QS of 7 on my camps and a CTR of 5% on my worst keys. (throw and Stick method) - Simple Guidelines from the Boss…
Organise your campaign by theme.
In each campaign, create separate ad groups for each of your products, brands or types of services you offer. Each ad group can then have a highly related set of keywords and ads that match the specific theme. By doing this, your ads can highlight exactly what a customer is searching for.
Choose your keywords carefully
Use specific keywords that directly relate to the theme of your ad group and landing page. Keywords that are too broad can lower your performance by generating many ad impressions but few clicks. One-word keywords are likely to be too generic, so try using two- or three-word phrases. Use the Keyword Tool to generate keyword ideas.
Include keywords in your ad text
Include your keywords in your ad text (especially the title) to show users that your ad relates to their search. If your ad shows when a user searches on a keyword in your ad group, the keyword will appear in bold in your ad text.
Use the right destination URL
Make sure that the Destination URL (landing page) you use for each ad is the most relevant page within your website - ideally, a page dedicated to the specific product or service that’s highlighted in your ad.
Track your success
To make informed decisions about how to optimise your campaigns, review your campaign statistics. To measure your success, use conversion tracking to see which ads and keywords bring the most to your business.
Give the searcher what they want, satisfy their need and the reaping of the sowing will surprise you.

OK so the silly season is nearly here again where the western world goes a little mad with their spending habits. What does this mean for the Affiliate Traffic Broker? Well take a look at a report I grabbed off a Yahoo Search marketing course….
Can you see it yet? And this was 3 years ago! You can easily increase these figures by +10%, even if we are still in a recession. You see each year more people go online, more begin to trust the online retail shopping sites, more money per person is going to be spent online, than in the real world!
What will I be doing? Well I tackle most things at multiple levels and angles so I will be building many “One Keyword” HQ mini websites, Increasing my Adwords, MSN & Yahoo campaigns, Increasing my Amazon product portfolio (both UK and US), Increasing my media buys and reaching out to the 2nd tier search engine platforms to expand & develope new marketplaces…Phew! Yep its hard work and currently I am putting in 60+ hrs of work a week…BUT just like last year it will be worth it!

Many people at the latest AD Tech show were what I call “Newbies”. I could hear quite a few asking the question ” what is online affiliate marketing?” Plainly speaking it is a VERY lucrative business model that if followed correctly can yield great results. A merchant e.g. Amazon.com will pay the affiliate (you!) when you send a customer who purchases a product (or service) off their site. This is known as an affiliate commission and is no different from the traditional offline system of paying a “cut” of the sale to the promoter.
What’s so great about online affiliate marketing is that you can start your business with very low investment (a computer & Internet connection) This will grow as you invest time into training and action….possibly to the point where you can earn more than your current job and become one of the elite 1% of marketers out there earning $10,000 + per month….all from your own home!

Earning money on the Internet has never been so lucrative as it is RIGHT NOW. It will only grow as the Internet grows and as people trust and therefore spend more money on the net each year on all kinds of products, services and information. (Here in the UK last year 2008, people spent on average over $4,000 per user online….don’t you wish to have a cut of that?

Check this “small snippet” of information out…Google controls over 270 + million unique searches per day… that’s more than 11 million searches per hour. And get this into your head; Google earns an average of approx. nine cents per search. So Nine cents times 11 million an hour = ???

If that’s not mind blowing enough…Think on this…According to some insiders working at GHQ, they want 100 billion pages indexed and will get there, within perhaps the next few years. What does all this mean to the Internet Marketer?
You need to wake up now and work alongside this company, partner with it in what you do, become an expert in at least the intermediate level of PPC and SEO optimization, do this and its almost a Guarantee your business will do VERY well indeed…
Ad Tech London - Brief Review
Just got back from London and it was BUZZING….
Met some cool dudes, visited my favorite Networks and saw the “birds eye view” of the Online Digital market in Europe.
Whats big is Mobile & of course everyone was talking about Googles New Ad platform. Went to the “Advanced Google Boot camp” & quite frankly I was a little disappointed as I thought it would be more in depth. It brought a smile to my face when they talked about image ads & “it will take time to generate your image ad camps…but its worth it”…Rock on! Why? Because this is the very platform I am testing out at the moment with my KA software monthly payment to Keyword Rockstar. I will write a full review of this software soon AND will provide my exclusive bonus & link to this “closed door” software. I like being ahead of the game…its exciting & a great feeling.
One other observation was that there were A LOT of newbies in the show, both visitors & exhibitors. It was fun asking some of them about advanced SEO tactics as quite a few did not know what I was talking about. Some of them had clients that were spending $xxxxx a month and it goes to show what can be done by a good sales team.
AdTech London Visit
Very Excited to mention that I’m in Adtech London Today, where I will be meeting a number of Top Affiliate companies to expand my online ventures. The event in London is in its early years this being the 3rd year. I will be visiting the advanced Google workshops as well as some of my favourite Affiliate Networks like Neverblue. Googles New tool for Exporting (With a twist)

-Check it out, its not working 100% yet but as you will see you can pop your into the box and choose from the G20, Europe, Asia, Africa etc, etc to see into the marketplaces for exporting opportunities. I prefer to default to Emerging markets…hit return & after the bot churns the data out spits your heat map. Change to table, and it gives a nice list (see below) for you to plan your export ideas.
TIP: The sneaky way I will be using this is to test out my various affiliate products, Put in the seed keyword first. Don’t go too specific, the app can’t handle long tails yet. Save the results in a specific folder. (save as). After finding the emerging market & rough cpc estimates go dig further using the Google calculator built into the main Google Keyword tool (more accurate & will give you many more related keys) set the country and language first. (You can also use https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox) If your paying in $ keep it at default or change to your local currencies. Gather your Keys & go test your new marketplace! Enjoy!
