Jace Lumley is newly fashion conscious — not until he left his small Pennsylvanian hometown did he realize the importance of appearance.
“The first impression I give off begins with my own personal style,” writes Lumley in his bio. “By making a few conscious style choices, my comfort level in any situation was effected very positively.”
His blog, Plain T-Shirt, affirms his belief that style doesn’t have to be pricy or serve as a brand billboard. He stresses the importance of being comfortable with walking out the door every morning.
Mark Portillo and Jimmy Repeat are two-thirds of Mr. GIF, a Tumblr filled with high-energy GIFs, according to an article in The Daily Dot.
Repeat discusses how creating GIFs is a fun and rewarding art form that is engineered to be shared. “I love that it offers a challenge artistically and technically,” he says. “In some ways, I feel like it is some of the most pure forms of art, as its very easy to pass around, but also very hard to profit from. You can’t sell it, so in a way, GIFs are kind of priceless.”
Launched in April 2011, the blog has caught the attention of Forbes, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, MTV, Anthony Bourdain and Vice magazine.
